Trip to Alabama in Photos

If you were wondering where I was from June 14th-23rd– Oh, you weren’t? ALABAMA! I was in ALABAMA*!

*and Tennessee and Mississippi, but just driving through.

I photo-documented some of the trip, mostly from the car, going 70 miles an hour, so let’s just be thankful they’re not all incredibly blurry*.

*some of them are incredibly blurry.

In the week and a half we were there, we drove from Memphis, TN to North Alabama to Tuscaloosa to South Alabama and back up to Memphis through Mississippi. Ugh… Overall, though, I enjoyed the vacation.

I now have a deeper appreciation for my husband, not just because he drove most of the trip, but because I spent HOURS and HOURS in the car pretending to be an old-timey Southern Belle who lived in a mansion with six or seven other families and one bathroom, and he didn’t drive us into a tree.
